Welcome to Wargrave Bowling Club
Established in 1926, Wargrave Bowling Club welcomes visitors, spectators and members of all ages.
About Us
We are friendly mixed club with options to play both competitively in league games as well as “friendlies” against other local clubs.
Our season runs from mid April to mid September when the excellent green and facilities are open every day to members.
The large licensed clubhouse has changing facilities and a well stocked bar for matches and social events.
During the season, every Monday night from 6pm, we host a “Roll-Up” where anyone can come and join in with members for free and have a go. All equipment is provided – all you need are some flat shoes like trainers or pumps.
Our friendly games against other clubs can be mixed groups, mens or ladies and occur both home at our green and away and other local clubs.
We enter a mens team in the Kennet League. Other league competitions are entered with mens and ladies teams.
Most matches are played either mid week or at the weekend.
Entry to friendly matches is easily accessible via our inhouse developed, secure online booking system on our members page where you can view all upcoming matches and with an eligible link, sign yourself up! League matches are also available, picked by the Team Captain for each game.
