Wargrave Bowling Club
We are a friendly mixed club, with an excellent green.
We play mixed friendlies at the weekend and mid week. We also have mens
and ladies only league bowls competition matches.
We also have a large licensed club house with all facilities.
Our next home game is this Sunday at 2pm against Shiplake Village Bowling Club . Please come and support us!
Wargrave bowler David Askew took part in a County Open Singles match today, home at Wargrave against Jason Carr from Bracknell Bowling & Social Club - New.![]()
It was a close game to begin with but at end 8 Jason began to pull away with consistent 2 or 3 shot wins.![]()
David made a short comeback with a few consistent wins between ends 10 and 14 however only by a single shot each time so couldn't make up the difference. Jason reached the winning 21 shots on end 19.![]()

It was great to see David supported by friends and family too.

Due to the slightly crazy weather Wargrave has had over the last 45 minutes, our Kennet League game against Bracknell 'B' has been cancelled - excessive hail on the green!![]()
